Further to my Woolworths Eulogy a couple weeks back, I was passing a store in Putney which was all boarded up with signs about refunds.
Obviously if all the stores are now closed, there’s nowhere to turn if you bought something in the “Woolrush” and want to exchange or refund it!
There is a helpline number – 0844 8117 112 – if you found something dodgy in your pick ‘n’ mix. 🙂
I wonder how much the www.woolworths.co.uk domain name is worth though?

Expires in September this year, anyone know what happens to it and the copyrights?
It has got to be worth a fair bit given the PR it has (5) and the volume of links.
You never know, QDStores could snap it up…they could do with a PR boost for their highly transactional, ecommerce site……ahem
I`m sad to see Woolworths go! I think things started to go wrong for them when my love of pick n mix sweets dwindled. Use to send all my pocket money there…!!
Their website wasn’t pretty but I always found it converted well. I think the domain to be worth a fair bit and would be a good buy…
