Antique Chair Upholstery Before & After

chair1

We bought this chair in The Cotswolds and think it’s at least 150 years old.

The whole thing was was tired and dirty, so we shipped the whole thing over to Seattle with some fabric I’d bought in London, and I walked into several antique shops in West Seattle asking for upholsterer recommendations…..

We got the name of Betty Edwards who came and collected the chair and did a fabulous job in less than a day!

It’s been totally transformed and now sits pride of place (after the TV of course) in our living room.

Just goes to show that if you have a little vision, some antiques that look a little dated can be spruced up to look a million dollars!

If you want Betty’s details then ping me through my contact form and I’ll connect you!

That is gorgeous. Though I must admit, Mel, I’m a bit shocked you’d go for hot pink brocade fabric. 🙂

Suddenly I see you in an entirely new light Mel!
Watched the shuttle launch-got a bit emotional and have been calling or emailing some of my American relatives.
Hope you both well and happy.
