Hard Rock Cafe Memorabilia In Silverlight & Photosynth

At the Live Search Symposium a couple of weeks ago questions about where Photosynth had gone were plentiful. I guess the fact we’d made a noise about it 18 months ago and folks haven’t seen anything since has made people think it’s not going to happen.

Far from it!!

As you can see from the Hard Rock Cafe Memorabilia site, the technology has been combined with Silverlight to showcase bits and pieces from the bygone age of rock, making it super-easy to navigate the pieces and read associated trivia and history about them.

Here I’m using mouse controls to zoom in on some gushing scribblings about Phil Spector that John Lennon wrote in a letter years back.

Seattle Sox & Sandals

So I’m in Redmond and for the first time this year the sun has come out!

Microsoftees have taken to the tables outside RedWest C cafe and are soaking up the rays while having lunch.

What is alarming are the amount of sandals on show. They’re not being worn by the women but by the MEN! I know this is an outdoorsy kind of state and pretty relaxed, but guys I work with you! I don’t want to see your gnarled toenails and calluses.

What’s even worse than the typical Washington dress sense is the trend for wearing socks with sandals!!!

Seriously guys, spend some of those share options on a makeover!!!
