I love BIG & BOLD productions and we’ve nailed one with the Microsoft Advertising Story Video featuring (the very lovely) Felicia Day.

The campaign centres around the Microsoft Advertising Story Awards which is a competition we’re running to challenge brand advertisers, marketers and agencies.

I love these videos the Cannes Lions chaps do. This one has Yukio Nakayama, Executive Creative Director at Dentsu giving 5 tips on winning one of the coveted awards.

Love the fact he says to keep the subtitles slow as many of the judges don’t actually have English as their first language.

Nicely edited and presented little clip too!

With a little bit of help from mummy, Maggie knocks the high bit right out of the park!

Getting Maggie ready for bed the other day in Cambridge, she just started cracking up.

Not the last time she’ll be laughing “at” her father methinks! Let’s hope there’s a good measure of “with” smattered in with all those priceless giggles over years to come!

So we got the final contracts through for the book I’m writing with Paul Springer.

It just happened to be my 40th birthday when I signed next to my name, so Ashley helped capture the moment on video with the wriggly help of little Maggie.

Posterity aside, now the actual work begins. We have a deadline of 29th of February to deliver the tome.

Anyone know any good  online touch-typing courses?

In case you were wondering what the future looks like……..

OK, well maybe not her name, but she’s getting bigger and able to kick those long legs like crazy and respond to sounds.

Hard to believe that just over a month ago she was inside Ashley wiggling like this!

It’s Ashley’s birthday tomorrow, so Daddy and Maggie will be doing special for our heroine, followed by dinner with family and friends in West Seattle.

But I want to watch the game!

We’re trying to persuade Ashers that “that something special” might be finding a pub for the England world cup rugby game tomorrow……….but not sure that’s going to wash!

Had the great fortune to interview Jaron earlier this year.

He’s going to be at Advertising Week in NYC next month where I hope to catch up with him again.
