Got some nice comments from people as far afield as Turkey, and a chap called Srinivas from India asking what camera I took it with.
 When I replied it was with my Windows Phone, he didn’t believe me!

Well I didn’t and it was……

One of the consistently good things about Windows Phones is definitely the cameras. I had an HTC Mozart 7 when I was working in in England and the camera was just as good.

Some people get a little flummoxed by the focussing taking a while to master, but when they do, the quality is brilliant.

Creme Egg Anyone?

It might not be the operating system contributing to the quality of the camera, but the excellent sharing functionality of the Windows Phone is enhanced by the quality of the images the phones produce.

A couple of years ago I blogged about the original Arc Mouse and couldn’t contain my excitement back then.

A year ago I talked about the complementary Arc Keyboard that had been showcased at CES in Vegas.

Up until Christmas, the two looked very nice together on my desk, and pulling the mouse out in meetings created much cooing and exclamations like, “I didn’t know Microsoft did cool hardware!”

Well, as with most teams at Microsoft, Young Kim and the Microsoft Hardware Group don’t sit on their laurels for too long.

My keyboard is now totally in love with it’s new mate: The Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse.

It is, quite simply, an incredible piece of design, portability and efficiency.

Windows Mobile 6.5 looks a great improvement on 6.1 although no one was saying what 7 might bring!
